Assigned task : PROBLEM STATEMENT

Proposed research title :  THE IMPACT OF LEADERSHIP STYLE AMONG  TEACHERS IN SECONDARY SCHOOL TOWARDS STUDENT DISCIPLINE.

Student discipline has become a crucial matters in school for the last ten years which insists on upholding the moral values of the students.  In Asian Country, especially Malaysia, our style of handling the discipline problems will lead to the student's behaviour, with little or no thought whether our action is good for the students and also the learning environment in the classroom.

Meanwhile, leadership style among teachers in school is regarded as a most important factor in the success of failure of the students academic performance.  Ordinary teacher, head of discipline board or even the principal are responsible for the school's climate, outcome and culture of the school itself. However, there are differences in students discipline from one school to another is still a bone of contention.

Right until now, in this millennium years, the ministry or even ordinary teachers in ordinary school keep on endeavours to 'soften the taproot' in order to make sure the disciplinary action is lesser from time to time concomitant with the high pace worlds nowadays.  Various action has been taken to solve this problem but its seems not yet effective.  This is why this research is coming up.
